About The Class
The National Institute for Corrections Training Curriculum - Reentry Employment Specialist (RES) Training is being conducted by On Point Reentry Consortium. The training is in person and it is a blend of group activities, guest speakers, and video segments.
RES is designed for those who work with justice involved individuals in securing and retaining employment. Specifically targeting those who work in prisons, jails, probation, parole, Career Resource Centers, Government Agencies, and Faith-based and Community Organizations. The curriculum is designed to improve employment outcomes for persons with criminal histories through strategies of enhanced collaboration, employment assessments, and job development.
**To date we have trained over 7400 individuals in our county, surrounding counties, other cities, and other states.

3-days (8:30 am - 4:30 pm) (in person) SPACE IS LIMITED!!!
Participants must attend all times and days specified to receive a certificate of completion and will receive the RES Workbook and other reentry resources.
NOTE: RES is offered FREE. Once you have received confirmation from OPRC that you are registered, you are held accountable to attend. There will be a $25.00 fee charged to you or your agency, for no-shows. This is to maintain accountability for cost of materials.
