Clarence B Watson IV

Get to Know Me

Clarence B. Watson IV has built a strong legacy in mentoring, Reentry services, and trauma-informed conversations, driven by his passion for guiding and inspiring others toward self-development. And what purpose may be. His role was at the BGCAA, where he served as the Director of Character & Leadership for Teens. He designed and implemented programs that instilled core values and leadership skills in young individuals, preparing them to become influential leaders in their communities.

 

Clarence’s approach is deeply personal and empathetic, shaped by his own life experiences. He is certified as a Reentry and Mental Health Peer Support Specialist, which enables him to provide specialized support to individuals transitioning back into the community after incarceration. Which receiving an Associate of Applied Science from Austin Community College. His work with Students With A Purpose (SWAP) focuses on supporting justice impacts individuals navigate higher education, help rebuild their lives and careers.

 

 

Clarence is well-equipped to address the complex needs of those he mentors. His trauma-informed approach to working with crime survivors ensures that he provides a safe and supportive environment for participants to grow and start their healing journey. He is also trained in RES (Reentry Employment Specialist) and MRT (Moral Reconation Therapy), which further enhances his ability to facilitate effective 

 

In addition to his structured programs, Clarence has initiated several community-based projects aimed at fostering resilience and self-reliance. His mentorship is characterized by a commitment to listening, understanding, and responding to the unique needs of each mentee, ensuring that his guidance is both relevant and impactful.

 

Clarence’s dedication to mentoring and reentry work has not only enriched the lives of countless individuals but has also strengthened the communities he serves, leaving a lasting impact that extends far beyond the immediate outcomes of his efforts.

 

ABOUT
On-Point has designed the Reentry One-Stop Plan (The Plan) to address the known and unknown needs of the returning citizen.  The Plan serves as a resource and starting point for partners involved in reentry as well as returning citizens seeking the services of those partners.
